I did respond within the comment but I think everybody should see this and have a chance to grump at me about it.

Comment:

please explain to me how these new guys are all of a sudden 1.2 MILLION ahead of me. Next year if there is a next year I might not start til week 8 either.

Commissioners response:

I will acknowledge your concern but the "new' guys didn't know what their status would be before signing up and paying the entry fee.  It's as if they had taken the default for each tourney.  They have used up players (like Phil) already for the leg.  We have had people enter the league late before, they just weren't lucky enough to have had a winner in the mix.  And, it's only been done with tootally new people. OK, there's the justification. 

The only other thing I have to say about it is what I tell everybody on an ongoing basis when asked about this league - It's for FUN!  If it ceases to be fun, it's not worth playing.
