The end of another month

This is the last day of February and, in my world, the last month of winter. For me, the 8-10 in of snow we'll be getting in the next few days (if, the weather folks are as right as last week) is spring snow. It will melt away fairly quickly and just be an annoyance to travel. I had a measly 8 days of riding in February but it felt pretty good nonetheless. Rode on the 10th and then 7 days straight the week before our big snow last weekend. Even without the snow, I wouldn't have had much time to ride because we had our favorite 4 yr old visiting. March looks to be a huge month. Next week is the one tourney I look forward to every year, the Boys HS Hockey. I plan to take my usual spot at the bar for the Thursday session. The following week, we have our first tourney in the Bogey's Fantasy Golf tourney and Shannon and I fly off to San Francisco for St Pats Day and to visit the kids in Sacramento.

The Boys State HS Hockey Tourney is my favorite as well. This year, as promised last year, I will TRY to get a bracket printed and available to bar (Bogeys) patrons for thier prognosticating pleasure. (for those of you who went to Rosemount High, prognosticating is not a bad word or something you can get arrested for doing in public.)
