President's Day Weekend

What a great weekend. Started fairly chilly (I think the high Friday was in the teens) and ended with above 40 for the first time in months. Rode the bike all 4 days, so, I now have 5 days in February with a few more this week likely. Next weekend is looking pretty bad but I've cured my itch for the time being so I'm not going to worry about it. A great finish to the Daytona, though, I really thought it would be nice for the old guy (Mark Martin) to win. The finish in the Nissan was interesting, too, with Phil bogeying 18 to send it to a playoff he lost to Thurston Howell III (Oh, sorry, that's Charles Howell III). The answer to the trivia question - Who is the oldest player to win a Major after competing on the Senior Tour is - Nobody. At least unless the Senior Tour eligibility rules have changed since 1968, when Julius Boros won the PGA Championship at age 48.
