November and December riding - not really winter
Well, November and December were remarkably mild by Minnesota standards. Almost no snow and, looking back, I think the highs were at least in the 30's almost every day. I rode the Dyna 27 days in November and in the 17-20 day range in December.
January has been OK as I've ridden 4 of the 8 days thus far. I didn't get my New Year's Day ride in, though. I had the driveway clean but the streets were impassable as there was a thin coat of ice/snow mix that day which didn't clear off until the 3rd.
It sounds like we may soon have a lasting coating of snow which may make riding less frequent. Weather folks are predicting an inch or two here and there duting the next week and colder temps. We'll just have to see if they're correct.
My November riding gave me a 15-yr streak of at least one ride (in Minnesota) in every calendar month.
