Memorial Day Weekend

Nice to have a long weekend.

Friday, we had a great meal at It's Greek to Me! and then went to The House of Blue Leaves at The Jungle Theater.  It was a very odd adaptation.  We didn't love it and we didn't hate it.  The acting was good but the whole play was inconsistent at best.

Saturday, the water heater we installed a couple weeks ago quit working, so, I worked on it for a couple hours before giving up and calling the plumber.  They'll get to it early next week.

Sunday was just plain HOT, really, too hot for me.  We rode down to Dundas to the Rice County Gas and Staem Engine Swap Meet and Flea Market, partly because Shannon really likes old, rusty metal bits and partly just to get iin a ride.  BOth of us fried a little bit, so, I dragged out the air con.  That helped a lot.  Liliana came over about 5 and we all went to Sally Brown's party at Sweeney's.

Don't know yet what we're up to today.  I'll probably hide inside until lunch time and then grill up the pork chops I bought the other day.
